Pre-press starts with pre-flighting your job. This is where we look for any discrepancies in your specs or deviations from your provided lasers. We check for color, type re-flow, fit, and consistency from page to page, making sure that it will image properly.

The next step is providing you with a proof. We produce two types of laser proofs; an Epson Digital Laser proof that is accurate for size, fold, backup and content or a color pleasing laser proof. We can also provide an electronic PDF proof. The type of proof you receive depends on your preferences and the number of colors on the job. Proofing is the critical stage for catching any problems. Changes made after this will be more costly, involving not only time, but materials also.

Once your proof has been approved, it is then ready to be plated and sent to our pressroom.
